Lucasarts’ 1998 masterpiece is about Manny Calavera, whose job is to deliver souls to the afterlife, and the noir mystery he soon finds himself embroiled in. The game sold poorly at release, but everyone was missing out – the incredible pre-rendered graphics, brilliant performances, excellent script and intelligent puzzles make this a game to die for.
