George Mallory famously said that he climbed Mount Everest “because it’s there.” There are many reasons to climb the mountain in Celeste, though. There are the incredibly responsive, fun controls; the extraordinary, intricate level designs; the hidden secrets you can find and collect; the brilliant 2D graphics; the wonderful, moving story. We’d move mountains for this game.
