Toe Jam & Earl
90s Sega produced some great weird games, and ToeJam & Earl is a great example of the company trying some exciting new things. The first game is a funky rougelike satire of humanity from an alien's perspective, and has you dodging nerds, evil ice-cream trucks, demons, and even weaponised chickens as you play. After two ill-fated sequels, the alien dudes returned to their roots for 2019’s ToeJam & Earl: Back in the Groove.
